General Information
The Sheriff and his staff are required to follow strict federal guidelines when performing necessary procedures for fingerprinting. During the application process, you will be asked to schedule an appointment. Please note that you will be asked to pay now to reserve your appointment.
- Fingerprinting costs $20.00
- Appointments for fingerprinting may be scheduled based on availability during the following blocks of time:
- Monday through Friday
- 12:30pm-12:50pm
- 12:50pm-13:10pm
- 13:10pm-13:30pm
- 14:30pm-14:50pm
- 14:50pm-15:10pm
- Saturday
- 10:15am-10:30am
- 10:30am-10:45am
- 10:45am-11:00am
- 11:00am-11:15am
- 11:15am-11:30am.

Fingerprinting Requirements: must meet ALL requirements
Citizens may schedule fingerprint appointments online with the option to pay using credit/debit card. The cost to get fingerprinted is $20.00. You may schedule an appointment in person at the Scott County Jail Visitation Center inside the Scott County Courthouse using a kiosk at that location. Phone appointments will no longer be accepted. You may pay cash in person at the Sheriff's Office, but all appointments will be submitted online. Same day service is not available at this time.
At the time of your fingerprint appointment, a state driver's license or state identification card is required for verification.
